March 26th: Community Workshop on Organizing for Change Using An Anti Oppression
Framework with anti-racist artist/educator Chet Singh
This participatory workshop is designed for individuals working in
organizations as change agents and/or community activists.The workshop will
identify common approaches to social justice and human rights organizational
change and collectively explore change strategies activists/change agents
can use in their work.
When: Friday, March 26th from 11 am to 1 pm
Bring your lunch and we'll provide refreshments & light snacks
Where: Sadleir House in the newly renovated & accessible Lecture Hall

About the Facilitator: Chet Singh is an anti racist educator and
dub poet who lives in Lakefield when he's not teaching in Toronto. Chet has
worked with educational institutions, government and community organizations
to develop and implement human rights initiatives. His poetry addresses
intersecting systems of oppression with a strong emphasis on ecological
issues.
