For the past 5 years, Allan Lissner has been working on collaborative multimedia projects with over a dozen Indigenous Communities who are working to preserve their cultures and defend their homeland from mining projects that threaten their way of life. This multimedia presentation will focus on the ethics of photojournalism using examples from communities in the Philippines, Guatamala, Tanzania, and Canada who are on the front lines of a global struggle for social and environmental justice.
