This week-long day-camp has been specifically designed for campers between the ages of 12 and 17 who are interested in learning about community radio and gaining hands-on experience in the field of radio production.

During the one-week camp students will be given the opportunity to build confidence and leadership skills through group and independent creative projects; will gain the chance to become comfortable broadcasting live on the air, and receive technical training while learning about radio from a community perspective.

Campers will be guided through a series of creative workshops led by local experts, produce their own radio programme, and will get the chance to work alongside current Trent Radio Programmers. This week long day camp will prepare and teach students to:

- Operate various soundboards

- Conduct live interviews

- Write and produce radio drama

- Develop sound, voice and recording techniques

- Construct an FM transmitter

- Edit sound files with audio editing software

- Write and submit a programme proposal

- Interact with other community members interested in radio
