Summit Keynote: Mia Birk
This year's summit will feature Mia Birk as our keynote speaker. Mia Birk, CEO of Alta Planning + Design, has 20 years experiences in bicycle, trail and greenway planning, design and implementation. She is an Adjunct Professor at PSU, where she founded the initiative for Bicycle and Pedestrian Innovation, and was the Portland Bicycle Program Manager for 7 years. She has recently penned a book entitled Joyride: Empowering People and Transforming Communities, One Pedal Stroke at a Time, detailing her extensive career making communities more bicycle and pedestrian friendly.
