All are welcome to the 5th Annual Mnoominkewin Gathering which will take place on Saturday, Sept 28, 2024 at Curve Lake First Nation's Lime Kiln Park / Pow Wow Grounds.The Mnoominkewin Gathering brings together Elders and Traditional Knowledge Holders, Singers and Drummers, Language Teachers, Artists, Cooks, and community of all ages in a Mnoomin-themed day of celebration and feasting, for free. Central to the Gathering, we have Mnoomin seeds and canoes available for people to go out onto the lake to plant and gather Mnoomin. Mnoominke Practitioners demonstrate the processing of Mnoomin into food and participants engage in experiential learning.
