Thank you for participating in the 5th annual Bowl the World fundraising bowl-a-thon in support of the Kawartha World Issue Centre’s (KWIC). All proceeds go directly to KWIC’s Global Education and Resource Centre, events and programmes in Peterborough and surrounding area.

Date and Location: Saturday October 25th 2007 @ 1pm at the Lakeview Bowl, Market Plaza on George Street. This event is for all ages!

How it works: Individual bowlers and “teams” are welcome to participate. Teams are made up of six bowlers. Each team member or bowler solicits pledges and records them on the sponsor sheet. There are prizes for the Wackiest Dressed Team so dress up!

Minimum pledge per team $30/person; suggested $200.00 (6 players per team). Receipts will be issued for pledges of $10 or more. Please ensure participants print clearly and include a postal code for receipts.

Prizes: Fabulous prizes will be awarded during the bowl-a-thon as well as prizes for the highest fundraiser from Cosmic Charlie’s Café’, Wild Rock Outfitters, REFRAME Peterborough International Film Festival, Night Kitchen and more!

Registration: Your registration fee is included in the $30/person contribution. This includes the price of 2 games and shoe rental. Turn in one registration form per team. If you are bowling individually, or with a smaller group just turn in a form and you will be placed on a team.

Please return the registration form to the KWIC by October 15, 2008 so we can book your lane!
